CBW CLASSES
1. BENNY BROWN: Carving an Indian Cliff Dwellings from Cottonwood Bark with hand tools, 1 to 4 Day class, $30 per day which includes the Blank.
REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES
There will be 22 classes for all levels of carving skills and carving technigues. A short summary of each class is found below. Click on the button to the right of each summary to view more detail about the course and to sign up for the course. A registration fee of $15.00 and a 50% non-refundable deposit for the class fee is required to register. The earlier you register the more likely you will secure a spot in your first choice. IF THE CLASS IS FULL YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER AND SHOULD LOOK FOR YOUR SECOND CHOICE.
3. DALLAS DEEGE: Carving a full Caricature Cowboy figure with hand tools. Several figures to choose from. 3 Day class, $140 plus $20 for the blank.
2. BILL CLARK: Bill will do demo's of small projects that take an hour or so to do. We will provide more detail closer to the show date.
4. DON GIFFORD: Deep to medium relief carving with hand tools. Many patterns to choose from or bring your own. 4 Day class, $100 with a 10"x12" board included. Large boards available at additional cost.
5. LENA GIFFORD: Chip carving class of a Serving Tray with chip carving knife. 4 Day class suitable for intermediate or advanced chip carvers. Cost $100 for the class plus $40 for the beautiful tray and several patterns to choose from.
6. BOB GUGE: Bob, one of our show judges, will teach carving the beautiful Cedar Waxwing. This will be a power carving class. Bob has published many carving books and taught carving all over the world. 4 Day class, $230 which includes the cutout. Other cutouts and study casts will be available for purchase.
7. JOSH GUGE: Josh, one of our show judges, will teach power carving a fish. Josh is the current World Champion Fish Carver. Students may choose a saltwater fish (Copperband Butterfly Fish) or a freshwater fish (Rainbow Trout). Josh has won many fish carving awards. 4 Day class, $230 which includes the cutout. Other cutouts and study casts will be available for purchase.
8. DON HARTT: Hand carve one of Don's famous canes with Don. 4 Day class, $120 plus the blank for $75.
9. CAROLYN HALBROOK: Carolyn will be teaching a beginning chip carving class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Dependent on the student's skill level projects at various levels of difficulty can be carved. Cost $30 per day, which includes a practice board. Blanks and projects are extra
18. ADAIR & PATTY RUCKER: Four day class on Monday to Thursday, The first 3 days you will carve a Santa with handtools with Adair from a choice of blanks. Day 4 will be painting with Patty. Cost $140 plus the blank

17. DANNY REB: Danny Reb will teach a 4 day class with three Scandinavian caricatures. A bachelor farmer, a farmers wife holding a milk bucket and a hunter (can be a fisherman) He would like at least 5 to 10 students and the class cost $100 for four days which includes all three blanks and paint if time permits.
16. WANDA REICHERT: This is a power saltwater fish carving class and students must have a dust collector and power carving tools to participate. You will carve and paint a saltwater Sheepshead or Freshwater Angelfish. 4 Day class, $125 which includes the blank, student will furnish habitat or Wanda will have some for sale at class time.
13. STU MARTIN: Stu will be teaching his realistic human busts and figures. This is a handtool carving class for 4 days at $160 for the class. Stu will have 30-40 blanks to choose from and they range in price from $18.00 to $42.00.
12. TOM KREYLING: Hand chip carve a calligraphy style sign for your home, RV or office using hand tools. This is a 4 day freeform chip carving class including calligraphy lettering. Cost $120.00 for the class plus a $10.00 material fee. Additional projects will be available if interested for $2.00 - $10.00. See web for more detail.
11.GEN KREYLING: Woodburning (Pyrography) with Gen for your choice of two or four days. A basic practice board will be included in the cost of $60 per 2 day session. Material suitable for more complex projects will be available for purchase. See web for more detail.
10. CAROLYN HALBROOK: Carolyn will be teaching a chip carving lettering class on Thursday. This popular class cost $30 per day, which includes a practice board. Blanks and projects are extra
19. PATTY RUCKER: One or two day class on Monday and Tuesday learning soft shading techniques in Woodburning. Cost $35 per day which includes a practice board and supplies excluding the wood burner. For portraits, it is recommended to take two days

20. FRED AND ELAINE STENMAN: Fred & Elaine will teach a 4 day class of their unique style of shallow relief carving, with woodburning and painting to complete the projects. Price for their 4day class would be $120.00 plus the blank which would be $15 - $25.00 depending on student's choice.
15. DONNA MENKE: On Thursday Donna will teach Celtic Knots and Joined Hearts with hand tools. Make a painted basswood ornament/pendant in either of three patterns- your choice. Cost: $45 includes a basswood blank and a 3-page color booklet of instructions.
14. DONNA MENKE: Three day class (Monday to Wednesday), using hand tools carve a life-sized life-like hummingbird with Donna. Learn step-by-step through carving, burning and painting your hummer. Cost: $120 includes the full hummingbird kit as well as her 17 page bound, color instruction booklet.
21. LARRY STANFIELD: Larry will teach Scandinavian Traditional Love Spoons and one Texas Love spoon of his design. You may carve as many days as you like. Price per day $30.00 which includes one basswood blank. Additional Basswood blanks are $5.00 each and $10.00 for a butternut blank.
